This intensive workshop with Deb Rich, PhD, LP, PMHC, provides a foundation of essential medical knowledge to build specialty psychotherapy skills in clinical evaluation and intervention. This extremely sensitive material is presented in a supportive environment which promotes participant learning and self-reflection. Lecture, videos, photos, and small groups will be utilized to address these topics: best practice in the medical setting, medical terminology and procedures, patterns of perinatal grief, normal trajectory of grief, incongruent grief in couples, differential diagnosis, and psychotherapeutic interventions.
