Mindy Wara

Marrying her love of storytelling, art, education, and advocacy, Mindy Wara joined the Touchstone Team as our Director of Marketing in 2022.

Having led a multipassionate career, Mindy brings a diverse repertoire of skills to her work. Prior to her role at Touchstone, she built marketing strategies for perinatal quality collaboratives; managed campaigns for reproductive justice organizations; taught high school English; owned an arts-based early childcare center; and freelanced as a writer and brand designer.

Additionally, she is a working artist, exploring the relationship between our inner lives and the world around us through her abstract paintings and weavings.

Mindy’s experiences with mental health, neurodiversity, and becoming a mother to a now thriving NICU graduate has greatly impacted her work, advocacy, and how she navigates the world.
