The Touchstone Institute for Perinatal Training, Inc. specializes in comprehensive trauma training for practitioners serving the perinatal community.
While we have included our CE approvals below, licensing requirements vary by jurisdiction and it is your sole responsibility to ensure that courses taken will fulfill the requirements for your licensing obligations. Any exceptions are clearly noted on course registration pages.

National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
Touchstone Institute for Perinatal Training, Inc. has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7346. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Touchstone Institute for Perinatal Training, Inc. is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

American Psychological Association (APA)
The Touchstone Institute for Perinatal Training is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Touchstone Institute for Perinatal Training maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
Note: APA-approved CEs are reciprocated by many state boards. You are responsible for checking with your state licensing board to be sure this coverage is accepted.

The EMDR International Association (EMDRIA)
The Touchstone Institute is an approved training provider with EMDRIA: approval #22021. Courses are also approved individually by EMDRIA for credit towards obtaining and maintaining EMDR certification.

Postpartum Support International (PSI)
Workshops are approved individually by PSI. Live courses are approved to obtain and maintain the PMH-C. On-demand courses are eligible for renewal of the PMH-C.

ASWB/ACE
The Touchstone Institute for Perinatal Training, [provider number:1876], is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Do I have to be EMDR trained to attend your trainings?
While many of our trainings are designed with EMDR practitioners in mind, we have a wide array of offerings for anyone working with perinatal populations. Explore our current list of upcoming and self-paced trainings to find the training that fits your needs and experience.
Is your EMDR training EMDRIA-approved?
Yes! Our Foundational EMDR Training is approved by the EMDR International Association.
Do you offer scholarships for trainings?
We have elected to offer sliding scale options for each of our trainings rather than asking people to go through a scholarship application process. We believe that time is a resource, just like money, and we want you to be able to select the pricing tier that is most fitting for you. In addition to tiered pricing, we offer payment plans and discount codes. Learn more about our pricing options and find the tier that best suits your needs by exploring our Pricing page. **Please note: there is no tiered pricing available for our Foundational EMDR training and we offer a limited number of scholarships for this training.
What is your refund policy?
More than 14 days notice is required for a full refund minus 7% administrative fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of training are eligible for a 50% refund or full transfer to another training within The Touchstone Institute. Only one transfer to another training is allowed. If you can not attend the transferred training your fee will be forfeited.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund or transfer. Exceptions to this policy are limited to medically documented circumstances or family bereavements. Failure to attend without prior notification (no-shows) will not qualify for a refund.
Do you offer Continuing Education credits for your courses?
