Jessica H Sweeney, LMHC

Jessica Sweeney is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health. She is an in-state provider for the state of North Carolina and an out-of-state provider for the states of Florida, Delaware, and Colorado. Jessica believes that by connecting with our authentic selves, we find the strength and resilience we might have long forgotten. You don't have to live the rest of your life feeling stuck in the past or overwhelmed by the present and future. Jessica practices from the understanding that our bodies are capable of healing and that the solutions are within us.

As a certified EMDR therapist and EMDR Consultant in training, she specializes in the areas of trauma/PTSD/C-PTSD, anxiety, grief and loss, and women's health/birthing people. Jessica also has specialized training in the area of infant loss and infertility. She utilizes an attachment-focused lens, incorporating Ego State and IFS/parts work to support her clients in healing.

In her free time, she enjoys time with her family, reading, gardening, consuming all things Star Wars (Episode 6 will forever be the best), and training her little therapy dog, Princeton. She manages stress by being active, meditating, creating art, or talking to her support network. Jessica is here to walk with you on your path of healing and growth.
