This training is designed to deepen professionals' understanding of trauma in the perinatal period  and has two distinct parts:

Day 1 is open to all professionals working with perinatal clients. The information presented will increase knowledge of the effect of trauma on birthgivers and families. The main themes woven into the training are the lens of grief, the lens of trauma, the systemic challenges this population faces, and the skill set needed to be effective with this population while supporting people throughout their healing process. 

Day 2 will build on the foundational knowledge laid on Day 1, and will be specifically for those practitioners with Brainspotting experience.
