Andrea is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, an EMDRIA approved Consultant-in-Training (CIT) through The Touchstone Institute, and is an EMDR Certified Therapist (EMDRT) Trained in EquiLateral: The Equine Assisted EMDR Protocol ®.
Andrea specializes in EMDR for Perinatal, Adolescent, Medical Provider/Therapists, and Veteran/First Responder populations. She has extensive practice experience in hospital settings; supporting families during inpatient hospital admissions following traumatic births and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) admissions, emergency department/crisis services, inpatient mental health, intensive outpatient mental health (IOP), and equine-assisted counseling for individuals and groups.
Given her own challenging experiences with fertility, pregnancy loss, and parenting a micro-preemie after a long NICU stay, Andi is dedicated to ensuring parents and families with children with medical complexities thrive.
