Kira Harkins, LSCSW, LCSW, PMH-C

Kira Harkins, LCSW, LSCSW, PMH-C is a licensed specialist clinical social worker and private practice owner residing in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a practitioner of Japanese Acupressure.

After becoming a mother, she was trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In 2020, she completed EMDR Certification with specific consultation and advanced training in EMDR for Perinatal Mental Health. She is an EMDR Consultant, EMDR facilitator, and has been working under the mentorship of Dr. Mara Tessler Stein, since 2019. Kira provides consultation for the Institute for Creative Mindfulness (ICM) trainees and is Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). She treats adults with complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Perinatal Mood Disorders, grief, burnout, transitions, infertility, loss, issues with feeding, and any perinatal trauma.
