A self-described "neuro-nerd,"Lisa is a former biology teacher, turned attachment-informed trauma therapist. Lisa spent the majority of her career working with children and families, with a niche working with children who have been in foster care and parents who are adopting from foster care.
Lisa now owns her own private practice called Thrive and Grow Psychotherapy. She enjoys working with families and a variety of populations, and loves helping clients understand and harness their body and brain reactions to trauma. Lisa is experienced at adapting EMDR strategies for individuals with ADHD. She uses scaffolding to help newly trained EMDR clinicians grow their skill set.
