Malaika Clelland, LCSW, PMH-C

Malaika is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapist (PMH-C) and Certified EMDR therapist and Consultant in Training under Mara Tessler-Stein. I have a private practice in Orange County, CA and also offer virtual therapy for anyone in the state of California.

Malaika's background includes being a child/family and play therapist, and a hospital social worker in both pediatrics/NICU and Labor and Delivery. Malaika's current areas of specialization include birth trauma, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, NICU stays/ medically complex babies and perinatal anxiety and depression.

Malaika is rooted in attachment theory and trauma work and is a client centered relational therapist. Malaika also incorporates art and sand tray into sessions when it is helpful. Malaika also works with parents who are adjusting to having more than one child and has a lot of experience in helping parents with toddlers and preschool aged children.
