Hello I am a bicultural and bi-lingual Latina woman. My approach is informed by my own bi-cultural experience, my personal perinatal journey, attachment theory, a developmental trauma framework, and a psychodynamic approach. Over the last 30 years I have worked with women and children in a variety of different contexts, which has provided me with extensive experience working with marginalized populations who have experienced complex and developmental trauma. I believe learning/healing happens in the context of relationships and community. I am committed to working alongside my consultees to support them in their learning journey. I am an EMDRIA-approved consultant in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), certified in Perinatal Mental Health, and a consultant in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I available to provide consultation in any of these areas. I look forward to working with you.
