About the Training
This course will explore the impact of trauma on couples. It will explore how to utilize the AIP model of EMDR with couples.
Day One will focus on exploring the different ways trauma can affect and impact couples. The goal is to explore how any couple’s therapist can be trauma-informed.
Day Two will focus on EMDR therapists and how to utilize Phases 3-8 with couples.
Continuing Education Approvals
The Touchstone Institute is approved by the APA, ASWB/ACE, and NBCC to offer continuing education credits. This course is approved by EMDRIA and Postpartum Support International for maintaining the PMH-C.
This workshop was held and recorded in 2025. CE credits are calculated based on total video content hours. Supplemental readings are not counted towards CE credits. A course quiz is required to obtain CEs with a passing score of 70%.
