About the Training
This workshop teaches participants how to assess for dissociation and subclinical dissociation and discusses appropriate interventions to counteract dissociative processes, using the present moment, that could interfere with effective EMDR treatment.
Working with individuals who are struggling with trauma and dissociation can present challenges during the reprocessing phases of EMDR. This workshop teaches participants how to assess subclinical dissociation and how to use interventions to counteract dissociation. Participants will learn how to integrate information gathered from the assessment of dissociative process to conceptualize treatment planning. Participants will practice interventions in breakout dyads during the workshop.

Continuing Education Approvals
The Touchstone Institute is approved by the APA, ASWB/ACE, and NBCC to offer continuing education credits. This course is approved by EMDRIA and Postpartum Support International for obtaining and maintaining the PMH-C.

Cancellation Policy
More than 14 days' notice is required prior to the first day of training for a full refund minus 7% administrative fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of training are eligible for a 50% refund or full transfer to another training within The Touchstone Institute. Only 1 transfer to another training is allowed. If you can not attend the transferred training your fee will be forfeited.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund or transfer. Exceptions to this policy are limited to medically documented circumstances or family bereavements. Failure to attend without prior notification (no-shows) will not qualify for a refund.
