Esmeralda Cardenas is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Perinatal Mental Health Certified therapist with nearly a decade of experience supporting women through the full spectrum of the perinatal journey: from preconception and pregnancy through postpartum and beyond. Based in Texas and practicing virtually statewide, Esmeralda founded Willow Path Collective with a singular conviction: that mothers are not just caregivers, they are the foundation of the family, and they deserve care that honors them as whole individuals. Her work goes beyond symptom relief. She walks alongside women as they reclaim their identity, confidence, and peace in the midst of one of life's most profound transitions. Esmeralda specializes in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, matrescence, and the emotional complexities of parenthood. She draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, and somatic and trauma-informed modalities — tailoring her work to each client's unique needs and story. For clients whose faith is central to their healing, Esmeralda also offers Christian-integrated therapy as an option. A bilingual provider fluent in both English and Spanish, Esmeralda is deeply committed to expanding access to culturally responsive perinatal mental health care for mothers across Texas.
