Sarah Watts

Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Certification in Perinatal Mental Health. She believes that when people feel truly heard, they can better understand their needs — and feel more able to consider change. Her goal is to help clients move out of overwhelm and reconnect with themselves, so they can build a life that feels more aligned and sustainable. Clients and colleagues describe Sarah as warm, affirming, and collaborative. She sees each client as the expert in their own life and encourages an active role in the therapy process. In her own journey to parenthood, Sarah discovered that building a family and feeling like yourself as a mom is not as straightforward as she imagined. The hard days navigating fertility and motherhood often felt isolating, especially in a culture shaped by social media and perfectionism. After her own postpartum experience, she pursued advanced training through Postpartum Support International and earned her Certification in Perinatal Mental Health to better support others in this season. Sarah specializes in working with clients through the transitions of fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenthood, and her hope is to offer a grounding, empathetic space where clients can begin to reimagine a life where they're not just getting by, but truly thriving. In their work together, Sarah and her clients may explore the past — how they were raised, their life experiences, and their values — to better understand how these shape present patterns. Together, they notice which responses are serving the client and which may need to shift, identify needs, untangle current coping patterns, and build new ways of responding that feel more aligned with their values. While her specialty is working with mothers, Sarah welcomes adult clients across a wide range of concerns and life stages.
