Emily Allaire

Emily Allaire (she/her) is a trauma-focus-trained, licensed clinical social worker in Waterloo, Iowa. As a certified perinatal mental health clinician (PMH-C), Emily specializes in perinatal mental and emotional health issues, perinatal loss and newborn death, birth trauma, and NICU family challenges. Emily utilizes psychotherapy, EMDR, Ego State and Parts Work, Polyvagal Theory while working with our nervous system, as well as cognitive behavioral therapies. She is dedicated to helping her clients shift how they perceive themselves, their relationships, responsibilities, and redefine the world around them. Through exploration, discussion, and self forgiveness Emily works alongside her clients to shift from negative self talk to healthy coping and self love.
