Hillary offers pre and post-baby EMDR intensives to moms and couples who are finding that life's biggest moments have a way of bringing it allllll up to the surface. Hillary is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), an attachment-based approach, as well as EMDR and Parts Work from Internal Family Systems (IFS). Hillary integrates these approaches to meet all her clients with a trauma-informed lens, working with their body to find safety once again. Her work is anchored around supporting women and couples through the developmental transformation that motherhood brings during Matrescence--a deep and multi-layered journey. Hillary also offers weekly therapy for clients in Florida and Virginia. Those interested in pre or post-baby EMDR intensives can travel from anywhere to Jacksonville, Florida for an in-person intensive. Many of Hillary's clients find themselves feeling stuck at a pivotal moment in their lives, and the old way of doing things just isn't working anymore. Life or relationships are asking something different. Hillary works with clients who have Complex PTSD or attachment trauma from years of emotional abuse or neglect, and yet they are wanting to show up differently in their own families and break the cycles of trauma.
