Alicia Zayas

Alicia is an LCSW and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist, passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate the unique challenges and joys of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Her goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen and supported. With extensive experience in trauma-informed care, Alicia understands the profound impact past experiences can have on present well-being. She specializes in using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective therapy, to help clients process difficult experiences and find healing. Alicia's approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths-based. This means she focuses on each client's unique needs, drawing upon their inherent strengths and resilience to help them thrive. She believes in a whole-person approach, considering all aspects of a client's life—emotional, mental, physical, and relational—to foster lasting well-being during this transformative time.
