Alison Willenbacher

I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. My practice is fully virtual enabling access to therapy at home, at work, on bedrest, or from an OB hospital unit. I see a range of mental health concerns in my practice. However, I am passionate about treating Perinatal Mental Health, Trauma, and Women's Mental Health, including issues related to pregnancy, postpartum, adjustment to parenthood, perimenopause and menopause. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health by Postpartum Support International, having completed post-graduate training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, fertility, and perinatal loss from the Seleni Institute and Postpartum Support International. As an attachment-focused Certified EMDR therapist, I work hard to approach my work with empathy and a focus on how past and present relationships impact current struggles. I draw on my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to offer practical tools to help my clients manage their current symptoms as we take on the work of healing.
