Allie Stefanelli

Allie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and holds licenses in Massachusetts and Virginia. Her education and background is in healthcare social work. She has 10+ years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are coping with complex physical and mental health diagnoses in a variety of settings, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Since transitioning to private practice 4 years ago she has focused her work on perinatal trauma. She holds a certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies and is certified in Perinatal Mental Health and EMDR. She has extensive experience in supporting those navigating trauma in the maternal and perinatal period. In addition, her work has afforded her the opportunity to partner with clients coping with a wide range of mental health concerns. She works with clients as they navigate grief, loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Allie believes that everyone has the ability to overcome and grow from life’s many challenges. She finds it is a true privilege to partner with clients during their journey and to have the opportunity to play a part in their healing process. She takes great care to honor and respect the unique aspects of all clients’ experiences while also reminding them they are not alone.
