Alyssa Castaño-Mann

Alyssa Castaño-Mann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of St. Louis Missouri. Alyssa graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. Alyssa is a Certified EMDR therapist and Consultant in Training under Mara Tesler Stein. Alyssa offers weekly psychotherapy, EMDR Healing Intensives and EMDR consultation. Alyssa specializes in treating traumatic birth experiences as well as supporting birthworkers and other perinatal professionals through vicarious trauma and burnout. Alyssa has a special focus on supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA clients through life transitions. Alyssa utilizes EMDR, Brainspotting, and Ego-State/parts work to support her clients through their stuck points. In addition to her work as a psychotherapist, Alyssa is a full-spectrum doula and trained lactation counselor.
