Amanda Fava

Licensed Independent Social Worker who is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician specializing in perinatal mental health including depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and adjusting to motherhood. Amanda has advanced training in perinatal and maternal mental health, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma, and other therapeutic interventions. Amanda is LGBTQIA2S+ affirming. Amanda is "in the middle" of EMDR training and is offering EMDR as a modality as she works towards completing required consultation and then will be pursuing certification through EMDRIA. Amanda is also trained in brainspotting with a perinatal lens. Amanda has a master's in social work and has worked in crisis situations with adults, youth, couples, and families as well as a residential facility for youth. Amanda has experience working with people with a myriad of presenting concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and life changes.
