Amanda Gibbons

Amanda Gibbons, LCSW-C, PMH-C, is a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of Restoring Heart and Home, LLC, a holistic mental health practice based in Westminster, Maryland; but available statewide in Pennsylvania and Maryland. With a deep passion for supporting individuals through life's transitions, Amanda specializes in perinatal mental health, grief therapy, anxiety, and trauma. She is trained in EMDR, CBT, and person-centered therapy, and her approach is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and a mind-body connection. Amanda earned her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work and has over a decade of experience in community mental health and private practice. As a PMH-C-certified clinician through Postpartum Support International, she is deeply committed to helping new parents navigate postpartum mood disorders, fertility struggles, miscarriage, and birth trauma. Having experienced pregnancy-related anxiety and personal baby and loved ones loss, Amanda connects with her clients through storytelling, lived experience, and a nurturing therapeutic presence. Beyond her practice, Amanda enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time outdoors with her spouse and two toddlers. She believes in meeting clients where they are—whether in nature, online, or in the office—helping them reclaim their stories, process grief, and build resilience for the road ahead.
