Amy Swart

Amy Swart, MSW, LICSW, PMH-C, has been a licensed therapist since 2011 and is passionate about supporting women and their emotional well-being. In addition to serving women of all ages, Amy specializes in perinatal mental health and care during the periods of pregnancy, postpartum, and new motherhood. She also has extensive experience in helping people overcome past traumatic incidents in a way that brings relief and promotes healing. Amy received her Perinatal Mental Health Certification from Postpartum Support International and is trained in EMDR. She owns a private practice, Nurture Women's Therapy, in Alexandria, MN. Amy also co-created the Pre-Social Work Transfer Pathway Program and Alexandria Technical and Community College in Minnesota and serves as an adjunct instructor.
