Aviella Snitman

Aviella Snitman, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist specializing in reproductive mental health and identity development. She has a particular interest in supporting reproductive trauma, as well as working with minority identities. Dr. Snitman has experience across a variety of mental health concerns and settings. After serving as part of a fertility clinic's psychological support team, Dr. Snitman transitioned to her own practice, and continues supporting clients with their reproductive mental health, including infertility patients, intended parents through third party gamete/embryo donation, new parents, and seasoned parents. In addition to her private practice, she currently leads support/psychoeducation groups for new mothers in the Washington, DC area. Dr. Snitman supports a diversity of emotional needs, from symptom management and coping skills to processing life transitions and identity development. She is currently accepting new clients for TeleHealth in DC, MD, and PSYPACT states.
