The journey to parenthood is rarely as simple or joyful as society often portrays. For many, it can be marked by deep emotional pain, uncertainty, and isolation. I’m Betty Flores, LCSW, certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, and also EMDR- and ERP-certified with ongoing supervision and consultation. My work centers on helping individuals and families navigate infertility, pregnancy loss, and reproductive trauma—as well as overwhelming prenatal and postpartum anxiety, OCD, and intrusive thoughts. You may be experiencing terrifying thoughts you don’t feel safe saying out loud, intense perfectionism, or surges of postpartum rage, working through loss. These symptoms can feel confusing and shameful, but they are treatable, and they do not define you. As part of your support system, I offer a space where we can gently explore these experiences without judgment. Together, we’ll work toward grounding your nervous system, understanding your symptoms, and reconnecting you with a sense of self in this unfamiliar season of life. You deserve to feel safe, supported, and seen—especially now.
