Britney Banyas

Britney Banyas is a Licensed Independent Social Worker located in Columbus, OH. She believes in creating a safe and supportive environment to help you work toward healing, empowerment, and reaching client-centered goals. She works with clients on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, perinatal mood disorders and perinatal trauma (infertility, pregnancy losses, traumatic birth, NICU). Britney uses a combination of eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, dialectical therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches. Britney earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Capital University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University. She has a significant clinical background and skill set in integrative women’s primary healthcare as a behavioral health service provider. She currently works at Columbus Women's Wellness and is a Community Lecturer at The Ohio State University College of Social Work.
