Caitlin Silverstein

Caitlin Silverstein, LCSW, PMH-C, CCTP, IPPE-C, is a compassionate and highly skilled perinatal mental health clinician based in New York, proudly serving women and mothers through the spectrum of grief, pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. She specializes in supporting those navigating postpartum anxiety and depression, pregnancy and infant loss, infertility, and the multilayered identity shifts of early motherhood. Caitlin believes that asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a powerful act of courage, and she creates a warm, inclusive space where mothers can fully feel themselves, uncover patterns holding them back, and cultivate new tools for healing and growth. With a solid foundation in evidence-based treatment, Caitlin integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy with trauma-informed care approaches that include EMDR and certifications in postpartum mental health and maternal-loss support. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from New York University and a BA in Psychology with a Health Sciences minor from Binghamton University. Licensed in New York and Florida, Caitlin is recognized by organizations including Postpartum Support International and the Star Legacy Foundation for her dedication to maternal mental health and perinatal trauma. In her work, Caitlin partners with mothers as a collaborator rather than a lecturer- she listens deeply, honors each unique story, and co-creates practical strategies that support daily life during motherhood.
