Casey Jones

Casey Jones is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Perinatal Mental Health Certified therapist (PMH-C). Through her professional work and her personal life she has developed a deep desire to promote healthy, strong, and functioning families. This desire is the heart behind her work and drives her professional goals and work with clients. In addition to therapy, Casey supervises new clinicians, provides professional consultations, and creates and facilitates trainings. Casey specializes in the treatment of women and their support systems struggling with perinatal mood disorders, pregnancy and infant loss, and traumatic birth experiences. In addition, she has extensive experience working with families through the processes of foster care and adoption. Casey also works with adult clients who have experienced traumatic events and or attachment wounds and especially enjoys helping parents process their childhood experiences in a way that promotes healing and attuned parenting with their own children. Casey works from a person-centered, strengths based, and solution-focused perspective and pulls from a variety of treatment modalities to best meet each client’s individual needs. Some therapeutic approaches utilized in her practice include: cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, attachment-based play therapy (based on elements of Theraplay), solution-focused therapy, somatic experiencing therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Casey is licensed and available to support in-person and telehealth clients in North Carolina and South Carolina.
