Corrie Goldberg, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with motivated and responsible adults and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, and trauma, and who may be feeling a lack of connection, control, or satisfaction in their lives. They are deep thinkers with big questions about how to feel more engaged, confident, effective, and fulfilled; and she works with people to explore these ideas together. Although she doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff; connection, humor, empathy, and compassion all help to ease the process. Dr. Goldberg starts from whatever point people are at and works with them to identify the goals that they aim to accomplish through therapy together; using evidence-based therapeutic techniques that work for their individual preferences and needs.
Corrie really believes in the power of being and feeling seen, and how this can help you open up to being helped. She incorporates her professional training and experience along with her lived experiences as a woman, a parent, and a professional into her work. She welcomes people of all genders; sexualities; races; sizes; neurotypes; religions; cultures; and relationship structures; and works with people from many marginalized groups.
Dr. Goldberg takes an eclectic and agile approach to therapy work; drawing from many evidence-based therapies to address individual preferences and needs and to drive meaningful change as the therapeutic work evolves. Among many therapeutic approaches utilized, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Ego State Parts Work often help many people feel significant and lasting impacts from therapy that ripple out into many areas of their lives. Corrie is a certified EMDR therapist who has pursued advanced training in EMDR for prenatal, perinatal, and reproductive trauma through the Touchstone Institute. She uses EMDR therapy daily in her professional work.
As a PSYPACT provider with the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology, Corrie is licensed to provide unlimited online therapy services to people living, working, or traveling in over 30 states across the U.S. She is skillful and experienced in creating and holding space for compassionate and effective virtual EMDR and trauma therapy online.
