Erin Hickman

Erin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, specializing in Perinatal Mood Disorders (postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, postpartum OCD) in all parents. She holds an additional certification in perinatal mental health disorders. Erin practices trauma re-processing by using EMDR and Brainspotting, with a specialization in processing birth trauma. She also works with depression, anxiety, life transitions, parent coaching, relationship issues, entertainment industry issues, individuation, codependence, identity issues and chronic illness, and many other issues. Erin graduated from Antioch University with her Masters in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. In addition to her training in EMDR, Flash EMDR and Brainspotting, she has completed the Gottman Level 1 training for working with couples and has experience working in the school system with elementary, junior high and high school kids. Erin's practice is humanistic, person-centered and integrative. She has many tools in her toolbox, and uses whichever tool is needed in each moment for each particular person. Erin practice Mindfulness-based psychotherapy. She is compassionate, empathetic and collaborative. Erin has personal experience with chronic illness. She has 3 children.
