Heidi Hemling

Heidi Hemling is a licensed professional counselor who is certified in treating perinatal mood disorders. She offers individual and group therapy for moms as well as partner and family support. Throughout treatment, clients can expect to focus on the unique supports needed during the perinatal and postpartum months; using mindfulness and cognitive behavioral techniques to change unhelpful thought patterns; prioritizing self-care; and finding balance in your new role and shifting identity. Heidi has completed trainings with Postpartum Support International, Brainspotting Training (through the Perinatal Lens) through the Touchstone Institute, and has completed certification with The Postpartum Stress Center in The Art of Holding. Heidi operates a fully virtual practice and is presently accepting new clients. Group treatment utilizing interpersonal therapy that involves moms and their support systems is also offered. Babies and children are always welcome if it makes attending sessions accessible for the client.
