Jennifer Mendoza

Jennifer Mendoza is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified in Perinatal Mental Health. Her private practice is located in San Diego, CA and she additionally supports women throughout California and Oregon via telehealth. Jennifer specializes in perinatal mental health and trauma. Jennifer is passionate about holding space and empowering women as they navigate anxiety and depression during pregnancy and postpartum, birth trauma, infertility, perinatal loss, and other women's issues. While these seasons of life are all deeply personal, she believes that holding space for these experiences is one of the best ways she can express care and support her clients in the way they deserve. Her passion comes from her personal and professional experiences, as she knows what it is like to overcome some of the challenges that come with motherhood and family building. Therapy with Jennifer is collaborative and holistic-nurturing the mind, body & spirit. With specific training in advanced perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, perinatal grief and loss, birth trauma, infertility, EMDR, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, Jennifer is committed to empowering clients to thrive on the journey to and through motherhood.
