Julia Israelski

Julia Israelski, LCSW PMHC is a trauma informed, social justice oriented, feminist social worker dedicated to helping her clients navigate the ups and downs of their experience from a place of curiosity and compassion. Julia has been practicing for over 15 years and weaves her knowledge, expertise and common humanity into her sessions. She is dedicated to meeting clients where they are and helping them gain insight into the factors that have contributed to their current circumstance, to recognize when old patterns are no longer serving them and to learn to integrate new adaptive information into their self concept and understanding as they begin to let let go of those things limiting their growth and well being. Julia is a certified perinatal mental health professional and a certified EMDR practitioiner, and as such has the unique perspective and appreciation for the developmental life span and how the current environment and messaging around motherhood and femininity intertwine with our own unique family histories to create discomfort and personal suffering. Julia believes that people make the best decisions they can with the information they have at the time and is dedicated to ensuring her client leave her interactions more informed and empathic towards themselves and others.
