Julia Ruane

Julia Ruane, LCSW, PMH-C has been working in the field of behavioral health since 2012. She specializes and is certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. She works with clients through the unpredictability of trying to start a family, including adoption and fertility issues. She supports families who are facing the pain of pregnancy loss, termination for medical reasons (TFMR) or dealing with the aftermath of birth trauma. She treats perinatal mood and anxiety disorders that arise during pregnancy and/or the postpartum period. She provides a skilled perspective to help clients learn how to ride the waves of this delicate and vulnerable time. Julia uses a person-centered, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach. She believes in building and maintaining a trusting therapeutic relationship, to help you heal from past traumas, live peacefully in the present moment, and feel hopeful about the future.
