Kara Cruz

Kara works with women and moms who are overwhelmed, frustrated and want to learn better ways to cope with day to day life. They are used to being chronically "busy" or "doing it all"...They take care of everyone else, but are READY to focus on their own wellness, so that they can find peace, joy and connection to their lives and families. Kara has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Chapman University and a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy from Brandman University. She has completed numerous hours of professional development training, focused on the treatment of women with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and children and adolescents with behavioral health needs. She has spent over 18 years working with parents and children in a school setting and over 16 years working at a local nonprofit agency in Modesto, California.
