Kelli McKinney

Life can be easier said than done! If you're reading this, you've already made the first courageous step to seek help. Kelli's overarching goal is to provide expertise and safety along your journey of healing and ultimately to you experiencing a fuller, more joyful life. Choosing to share your story can be difficult, but rewriting that story can alter the way you live, lead, and love. Kelli has personally been in the trenches, and it is her passion to walk through the pain and beauty of the perinatal season with others. Kelli values a holistic approach to therapy by exploring all aspects of your life while respecting each person's unique reasons for receiving therapy. Helping clients navigate the messiness of life and finding hope and joy is what she loves. Kelli enjoys working with a variety of clients, but her primary areas of focus include: anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum issues, NICU families, trauma/ abuse, attachment issues, missionary issues, and spirituality. Kelli is a board- certified counselor through NBCC, and trained in EMDR. Kelli has also received extensive training through Postpartum International in Perinatal mental health with an emphasis on NICU families and traumatic births. Kelli has 11 years of experience in outpatient settings, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, college campuses stateside and abroad, and as a consultant in various churches.
