Kiana Gates

Kiana Gates is a Licensed Social Worker in Vermont and Massachusetts. She graduated with her MSSW from Columbia University in 2020 and received her BSW from Castleton University in 2017. Her counseling style is client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed. She helps people facing a variety of issues including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, and chronic health conditions. She customizes treatment, approaching care by "meeting you where you are" using EMDR, interpersonal psychotherapy, and polyvagal-informed therapy. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space where her clients can thrive and collaboration can happen. Her door is open to adults of all cultural backgrounds and gender identities.
