Kristine is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Kansas, Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Kristine spent the first 7 years of her career working with children who had experienced trauma. After becoming a mother, she has now combined her professional experience with her personal experience to work with other birthing persons through their journey. The transition into parenthood can be an emotional and psychological adjustment effecting the entire family. Kristine works collaboratively with her clients in a trauma aware approach to support the processing of your past chapters and working towards turning the page into your next. Kristine specializes in providing treatment for those experiencing PMADs, Birth Trauma and those who have had NICU Experiences. Kristine utilizes a variety of evidence based treatment modalities including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Play Therapy. The process of reaching out for therapy services, is a very vulnerable place to be. Kristine's priority is to create a compassionate and non-judgmental space for all clients to explore their experiences and to improve your overall mental wellness.
