Lisa Johanns

A self-described "neuro-nerd," Lisa is a former biology teacher, turned attachment-informed trauma therapist. Lisa has spent the majority of her career working with children and families in various levels of care, with a niche working with children who have been in foster care and parents who are adopting from foster care. Lisa enjoys working with families and a variety of populations, and love helping clients understand and harness their body and brain reactions to trauma. Lisa is experienced at adapting EMDR strategies for individuals who have ADHD and explaining adaptive information processing in creative ways.
