Medha Kudaisya

Medha is a licensed social worker in the state of New Jersey and her passion is to support individuals navigating the major life changes and challenges that can accompany the family building stage of life. An immigrant herself, Medha was inspired to make a career switch and support other persons of color after facing several challenges navigating the pregnancy and postpartum period without a the support of close friends and family. It takes a village- as the adage goes- and she aspires to be part of that village for birthing people and their partners, people navigating fertility challenges, and birthing survivors of interpersonal violence. Medha is a trauma therapist with a certificate in Violence Against Women & Children and is currently pursuing EMDR certification. She utilizes a holistic approach with her clients, incorporating elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, and insight-based psychotherapy. She is fluent in Hindi, Bengali & Urdu and also runs support groups for survivors of intimate partner violence.
