Nikki Stillo

Dr. Nikki Stillo specializes in treating perinatal mental health, trauma, relationship issues, mood, and anxiety disorders. She has special interests in working with college students, young professionals, individuals struggling with pregnancy and postpartum difficulties, and couples experiencing transitions throughout the journey of parenthood. Dr. Stillo is also an experienced supervisor for pre-licensed and postdoctoral psychologists and is available for supervision and consultation. Dr. Stillo received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas following completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Vanderbilt University-Veterans Affairs Consortium in Nashville, TN. She returned to the Dallas area and completed a formal post-doctoral fellowship at Southern Methodist University’s Counseling and Psychiatric Services where she remained on staff for several years as a Licensed Psychologist and Supervisor. Dr. Stillo joined Great Life Counseling Center in 2015 as a Licensed Psychologist and then as the Director of Clinical Training before transitioning to her current role as Clinical Director (Addison). Dr. Stillo has completed advanced training with Postpartum Support International and is a certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C). She trained with Dr. Tesler-Stien for EMDR Basic Training and advanced training in the practice of EMDR for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. Dr. Stillo has also completed Gottman Training Levels 1 and 2, which she regularly integrates in her work with couples. Dr. Stillo is a Licensed Psychologist (LP) with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TX License #37142; Expires 10/31/2024). Dr. Stillo also holds an active Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) granted from the PSYPACT Commission: E. Passport issued 05/11/2021; Mobility Number 7668.
