Sharon Bale-Peña

Dr. Sharon Bale-Peña, DSW, LCSW, PMH-C is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in providing mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. Throughout her career, Sharon has worked in a variety of settings, including in private practice, schools, and as a social work professor. She has expertise in treating a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. Sharon is trained in EMDR and also has advanced training in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADS) and supporting individuals and families during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Additionally, she specializes in working with adolescents and young adults in balancing stressors and expectations. She has extensive experience in addressing school-related issues including school refusal, testing/performance anxiety, and supporting high-achieving students. Sharon is licensed to practice in NJ, NY, and PA.
