Shelley Freeman

Shelley Freeman (she/her) is a mom of two young kids and also a cat mom. She loves yoga, coffee, reading parenting books or nonfiction fluff and feeling her bare feet against the ground. She's interested in health, both mind and body. She loves diving deeper to find out why and try to incorporate mindfulness, breath work and movement into her daily life. Shelley has been doing counseling since 2005, upon graudating with her Masters of Science (MS) degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University, in Baltimore. She started on the private practice journey in about 2015 after working with severe and persistent mental health conditions with both children and adults. After becoming a mom herself, her heart was with moms. So many of her own issues and what she sees in her clients didn’t emerge or were exacerbated by the unique journey to motherhood. Shelley became a certified EMDR therapist in 2022, which was life changing, both personally and professionally.
