Victoria Rutsch

Vicky is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and certified by Postpartum Support International as a perinatal mental health counselor (PMH-C). She is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), EFT (Emotionally/Attachment Focused Therapy) and holds a certification in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). The core of Vicky's practice approach is centered around focusing on the topics that are most important for you, and using a holistic, integrative model to collaboratively work towards your goals. Vicky brings in multiple therapeutic approaches to form your individualized plan, along with a lens that focuses on the impacts that biological, environmental, relational, and societal factors have on your health and wellbeing. When you work with Vicky, you won’t just get a trained therapist; you will have the support of a therapist who genuinely understands you, and will lead you towards your goals with compassion and gentle guidance. Vicky founded The Caring Group Counseling Center (www.thecaringgroupcc.com) because of her passion for working with individuals throughout their reproductive journey–whether they are struggling to become parents, parents who are struggling with this new role, struggling to overcome perinatal trauma, and anywhere in between.
