Sarah B. Goldman

Dr. Sarah Goldman is a licensed clinical psychologist and EMDR Certified Therapist in private practice in Washington, DC. She specializes in complex and developmental trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, and relationship issues, and uses EMDR and related mind-body approaches to help alleviate distress in the perinatal period and beyond. Dr. Goldman is passionate about supporting clients on their reproductive journeys, particularly when childhood history complicates the formation of new families. She also believes in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship, and how the unfolding dynamic between therapist and client can support traumatic recovery in real time. She is an EMDR Consultant-in-Training under Dr. Tesler Stein at The Touchstone Institute.
